Well now that all the romantic valentine meets have finished it looks like the camping season is getting into full swing with all the DA’s and Sections busy preparing for their AGM’s.

I do hope you will all go along and support them and if you have never been on your committee why not give it a go and see what goes on behind the scenes of your DA or Section it can be a very rewarding job.

The region AGM this year is at Eggborough sports and social club on the 18th May so do come along and have your say then enjoy the evening social with live entertainment.

If you are now planning your years camping here are a couple of dates for your diary.

The Yorkshire Region Meet at Grange park Wetherby on the 20th – 23rd June and it’s our 70th birthday and with a theme of story books it looks like it will be a meet not to be missed, all for the weekend fee (Thurs-Sunday) of £21 with your early booking discount see website for more info.

Our annual chairman’s dinner dance is to be held again at the Holiday Inn Tong Bradford, rooms will be available in the hotel or camping available over the road at Home Farm £7.00 pun,all are welcome and at a price of £38pp including FREE BAR 7.00 – 11.00 pm. Put this date in your diary 30th November 2019.

Don’t forget to check out all the region fixtures including THS meets just click on the link on our website and start filling your diary for some amazing weekends away in some great locations.

Do you have youth aged between 12-17 if so have a chat with any of the youth leaders to find out what it’s all about or why not bring them along to the region meet and have a chat to the region youth leaders Wayne and Judith.

In June 2018 I announced my charity which is Dementia UK and I would like to thank all the people who have donated generously and helped in any way to raise funds for this cause, over the season we have raised £1424.70
